Family Jewels is an incest porn flick unlike anything I have ever seen. The central character in this film is a single father with a son and two daughters, all living under the same roof. The “kids” appear to be college age, but their schooling is only tangential. The father is extremely low-brow, very basic in his perceptions, desires and communications. His consistently crass dialogue actually becomes an amusing pull through for the sex scenes.

I would say that rather than a velvet sack of the “Family Jewels”, we are seeing a paper-bag of roasted chestnuts. Definitely not a big-budget production, but like the meat of this street fare will warm you up on a cold winter’s day, these scenes are not in the least frigid. Most incest films have some sort of seduction, or rather drawn-out resistance to the forbidden act, this one starts with the two sisters sharing adult toys like they might share makeup. It should be noted that, the sex scenes have typical 70s body hair. So, if a natural sweater turns you on, you will find this movie exceptionally hot.

Family Jewels lacks a maternal role but doesn’t disappoint in familial love and bonding. The first sex scene is between the two sisters with their favorite toys. Dad walks in on them and instead of scolding their lewd behavior, he proves that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, because he is worse than them in his desires to get laid.

More woman to woman romance

The orgy scene is not the last of the movie. It might not even be the “climax” of this film. The final scene captures the underlying comedic tilt to the film, but not before a bit of a shock. But you have to watch the whole thing to get in on the joke, as it is a subtle undertone to a controversial subject.

Son’s girlfriend drops in while he is working to see mom. She wants to get him in a threesome with her girlfriends, but he seems to be afraid of exploring a polyamorous relationship. Girlfriend confesses that she is only interested herself in a couple of women, Mom being one of them. Mom and her get it on. Next scene is son confronting his mother for fucking his grlfriend. Mom doesn’t deny it, but suggests that her son is too uptight, too old-fashioned in his desire for monogamy. Then she seduces him.

The film finishes with son’s resolve broken and a peek at the newfound fun in the household. Mom is in the bedroom with boyfriend from the third scene, and son comes home. This time instead of complaining, he waltzes right into the bedroom and joins in. But wait, he brought a friend. Mom is finally satisfied.
