Taboo 6 with Nina Hartley
Taboo 6, the last fully incest themed porn of the Taboo series had a great story line. Usually sequels start to fall apart with each subsequent film release, but this movie is good enough as a stand alone. Compared to the others in the series, Taboo 6 is distinct. All new actors, this time a sibling pairing. A brother and sister who also happen to be twins with a psychic connection.
Nina Hartley shows why she was truly a star among pornstars. Taboo 6 starts with her working out. She pushes her hot little body with all the intensity of a TV fitness instructor, very popular in the 80s. Right down to the dripping sweat, that you rarely see on the fitness influencers of today. Ms. Hartley, then goes on to carry the film with her acting chops, as she is in practically every scene.
The premise of the story is that Nina is a twin, having shared the womb with her brother. Although she is married, she and her sibling are very close because the share a psychic connection. This connection floods her with Taboo thoughts every time her brother takes a new lover. She finds herself experiencing the physical desire and pleasures that he shares with his girlfriend. This is shown with crazy masturbation scenes overlapped by sex scenes where the girlfriend is swapped out for the sister.
Taboo 6 embraces some of the new age trends of it’s time. As our main character goes to a celebrity psychic to get help with her problem. She has an episode (where she feels her brother inside of her). The struggling psychic (who’d been working from her recently departed sister’s reputation) suddenly gets real powers. She explains that this brother and sister have been lovers since the beginning of time. Only this reincarnation, they shared a womb, so they could share an entire lifetime, instead of waiting to find each other.
It’s as cheesy a plot as any. Nina divorces her husband whom no longer satisfies her. She goes to stay with her newly engaged brother, to offer him options. Of course the fiance is jealous, and rightly so. But Taboo 6 is not without a plan. Brother has to see the truth in the psychics crystal ball. Once all is revealed, the twins are free to be the lovers that their souls always knew them to be.
